[Jiufen] A nostalgic town and the world of Spirited Away

Jiufen is a must-visit destination for anyone who visits Taiwan.
If you visit at sunset, the lanterns will be lit and you can enjoy the fantastical townscape.
It rains almost every day, so an umbrella is a must, and the stone steps are slippery, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
Access: To get there, we took the train from Taipei to Ruifang Station, and then took a taxi from Ruifang Station. Taxis from Ruifang Station are a fixed fare.
On the way back, we booked a transfer. It was the right decision, as we were exhausted from walking and had used up our energy from the rain.
