One of the most popular spots in Taiwan is Jiufen Old Street.

It's fascinating with its Spirited Away-like worldview 🏮

When I went there in April, the lanterns started to light up around 5pm

As it gets dark, the lanterns change appearance depending on the time, so no matter how many times you take photos, you never get bored!

The stone-paved stairs are steep, so it's best to avoid wearing sandals ◎

As it gets dark, there are fewer items to eat on the go, so it's best not to go too late

If you're going back by bus, I recommend getting on at the bus stop up the hill from Jiufen!

If you wait at the bus stop down the hill, it will be full of people getting on from the bus stop that comes down, so be careful as you may be refused boarding or you may have to stand.
