A must-visit itinerary for anyone traveling to Taiwan: Yehliu, Shifen, Jinguashi, and Jiufen. At first, I wondered if it was possible to cover all these spots in one day, but it turned out to be a packed and fun-filled adventure! 💪
I joined a bus tour that covered all four destinations in one day, making it super convenient. It was a day of non-stop exploration and excitement! ✨

🌊 Yehliu Geopark

This place feels like a natural sculpture museum. As soon as you see the iconic Queen’s Head rock, everyone lines up to take their photo with it.
The sea breeze here is incredibly strong—be prepared for your hair to go wild! 😂 Make sure to hold onto your hat tightly, or it might fly away.

🎈 Shifen

The lantern village has such a charming atmosphere. The highlight is releasing sky lanterns on the railway tracks as trains pass by. You write your wishes across four sections of the lantern, and the photos you take here are truly Instagram-worthy! 📸
Each lantern color has a different meaning, so I chose one for health and well-being.

🏮 Jinguashi

This spot is quieter and perfect for a relaxing break. It has a slight Japanese vibe, and the cat alley is absolutely adorable 🐾.
Taking a break at a teahouse with a scenic view was the best part. If you have extra time, visiting the Gold Museum is worth it. Personally, I recommend this place for the cats and the beautiful scenery 💛.

🎇 Jiufen

The night view here is simply breathtaking. When the red lanterns light up, the atmosphere is magical. It reminded me of "Spirited Away," and I couldn’t stop exploring.
This is a must-visit spot in Taiwan. Arrive just before sunset to enjoy the night view—it’s the perfect timing.
Although the narrow alleys can get crowded, snacking along the way adds to the fun.

💡 Tips
📌 You can reverse the itinerary: Shifen → Jiufen → Jinguashi → Yehliu. Just make sure to plan according to the weather and time.
📌 Bring a power bank. You’ll need your phone for maps and timing, so keeping your battery charged is essential.
📌 Wear comfortable shoes. Jiufen’s alleys are steep, and Yehliu involves walking on rocky terrain, so sneakers are highly recommended.
⸻
This one-day trip to Taiwan’s Yehliu, Shifen, Jiufen, and Jinguashi was exhausting but incredibly fun and memorable. It even made me want to spend a night in Jiufen next time 🧡.
If you’re wondering whether it’s possible to do this in one day, give it a try—it’s absolutely doable! 🔥
