New Taipei City Art Museum

The New Taipei City Art Museum (also known as Yingge Art Museum) is located on Guanqian Road in Yingge District, New Taipei City. It officially opens on April 25, 2025. Designed by architect Yao Ren-Xi, the museum embraces the concept of "An Art Museum Among the Reeds." Its exterior features thousands of aluminum tubes that mimic the swaying motion of reeds, blending seamlessly with the surrounding natural landscape.

Spanning 2.6 hectares, the museum houses permanent exhibition halls, a multifunctional performance hall, a children's art space, and public workshops. The opening exhibitions include "Coming and Reflecting," which explores New Taipei's history; "Xindian Boy," combining technology and the environment; and "As Natural As It Gets," a parent-child co-creation project. Positioned as "The People's Art Museum," it aims to bridge the gap between art and everyday life, forming an artistic corridor with the Yingge Ceramics Museum.
