White Waves Over Mountains and Seas: A Trip to "Taoyuan Valley" During the Silver Grass Season

This journey starts from Daxi Station, climbing up the mountain and descending at Dali Station. The trail begins with a series of steps, which can be a bit tiring, but the breathtaking scenery quickly makes you forget the effort.

Taoyuan Valley is located at the border of New Taipei City and Yilan County. On one side, you can see lush green mountain ranges, while on the other, you can gaze out at the vast Pacific Ocean. Guishan Island quietly floats on the sea, creating a truly spectacular view.

Autumn is the season for silver grass. The hillsides are covered with swaying white grass, making you feel as if you're surrounded by gentle waves, adding a dreamy touch to the experience. ❤️

Along the way, you might encounter herds of cattle leisurely strolling along the mountain paths. I was both amused and a bit nervous as they seemed curious to approach me. The scene was quite funny. 🤪

The weather alternated between sunny and rainy. The sunlight was dazzling, while the light rain added a touch of romance.

When you reach the "smile line" of the valley, the expansive view is so stunning that you can't help but pause to take it all in.
