New Taipei's nearby attraction for waterfall views and forest bathing

If you're looking for a place not far from Taipei with beautiful waterfalls, Full Moon Forest is an excellent choice! The trails here are well-designed, allowing you to walk through towering trees accompanied by a gentle stream, creating a super relaxing atmosphere. 🌲

One thing to note is that the area is quite humid, so the trails and steps can be a bit slippery. Be cautious while walking. Also, if you visit during summer, don't forget mosquito repellent, or you might become a feast for the mosquitoes!

💦 Atmosphere/Facilities:
The most famous attractions in Full Moon Forest are its two waterfalls: "Full Moon Waterfall" and "Virgin Waterfall."

🔺 Full Moon Waterfall: This one is more gentle and elegant. There's a three-story-high "Full Moon Bridge" in front of the waterfall, offering a fantastic view up close!
🔺 Virgin Waterfall: This one is completely different, with a massive water flow and strong currents. Standing at the waterfall pavilion, you can feel the mist spraying over, which is super refreshing!

The trails from the visitor center to these two waterfalls are relatively flat and easy to walk, shaded by trees, so you won't be exposed to much sunlight. If you're up for a challenge, you can try the "self-guided trail" connecting the two waterfalls. It involves climbing more steps but offers different perspectives of the forest, making it worthwhile.
