I spent a sun-soaked day at the iconic Queen’s Head and Yehliu Geopark—total musts for anyone who loves nature and quirky coastal views 🌊😎! The highlights? Epic ocean backdrop shots and wild rock formations that look unreal (seriously, your phone gallery will thank you).
Top Spots to Visit
Yehliu Geopark
Address: No.167-1, Gangliu East Road, Wanli District, New Taipei City, Taiwan
Hours: 08:00–17:00 | Entry: 120 TWD
This park serves up crazy rock shapes, Insta-worthy “alien planet” vibes, and plenty of chill walking trails. Flowers, windswept trees, and hidden corners for a snack break—don’t rush, enjoy the views.
Queen’s Head
Tip: Go early—the sun gets intense by noon, and you’ll skip lines at the famous Queen’s Head rock (trust me, you don’t want your selfie interrupted by crowds). The coastal park isn’t huge, so 1–2 hours is perfect. Best photo angle? Check the shaded rest stops for that sharp “blue-sea + head” combo!
Getting Around
Bus 953/1815 from Taipei is fast + comfy, and rarely crowded. Drivers are super friendly—just hop on, sit back, and watch the coast roll by! If you want peace and killer sea panoramas, skip the taxi and go public.
Food
Pack snacks—cafes are sparse inside. There are local seafood joints near the entrance if you get hungry after exploring!
Quick Tips
Tickets sold at the gate, cash preferred. Weather can change color water; bring a hat and sunscreen!
