Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa, Hon Tre Island
If you’ve already made the effort to visit Nha Trang, then you absolutely must stay at this resort on Hon Tre Island! Last year, it won the award for Asia’s Leading Resort (World Travel Awards 2024), Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa.

What impressed me most was the resort’s entire layout — it’s overwhelming in a good way, luxurious yet refined. The grand lobby that combines the hotel and villas is stunning, and the villas themselves are also super impressive.

My villa had 3 bedrooms with a sea view. The interior is elegantly classic, yet still blends well with a tropical vibe. Even though it’s technically a villa, it didn’t feel too isolated. There was even a small path directly to the beach — just a few steps from the sand to the big beach. This place has fine white sand and clear blue waters, all very calm and peaceful. That’s why I was determined to stay here no matter what!

From the check-in lobby, to the right and left are the Sands and Greens restaurants. Personally, I loved the green window panes at Greens — it gave the cozy feeling of sitting right next to the pool from early morning. From here, you can walk straight to the main pool area, no need to worry about anything else except how breathtakingly gorgeous it all is.

If you’re wondering how to get to Hon Tre Island: Start from Vinpearl Harbour, and if you have a Marriott booking, you’ll be able to scan your Face ID to get in. From that moment, you can freely take the cable car or speedboat multiple times. I went back and forth about 4–5 times just to enjoy the view!

There’s one more experience (not included in the room package), but it’s so worth it in terms of both quality and taste: the Seafood XO Set. You can order it to your villa. Eat, chill, and enjoy like royalty — because let’s be real, it doesn’t get better than Marriott Nha Trang!
