The large antique clock in the back has been there for over 100 years

Making the most of the store's history, the interior is surrounded by antiques, making the most of the old miso storehouse.
In the evenings, the bar in the back apparently operated as an izakaya.

I was looking to buy some tamari pickle seasoning,
and while I was carefully selecting my items, the owner explained all about the antiques.
He even opened the safe and explained what was inside... Apparently, the tableware displayed in front of it was unearthed during a storehouse cleanout.

If I found something I liked, he'd sell it to me, so I ended up discovering a rare find at a random shop I popped into.
