Forget Nalati, this provincial road is the true gem of Ili.

Half a month in Ili
If I could choose again, I would undoubtedly spend more days exploring this provincial road in depth!

This is the Tangbula Grassland, a hidden treasure yet to be fully discovered.
Tangbula Grassland doesn't have a specific location; it spans a large area parallel to Provincial Road 315.
Since it hasn't been overdeveloped, the scenery here is even more precious.

If you can't get a 🚗 self-driving ticket for Nalati, I suggest skipping Nalati altogether and heading straight to Tangbula—you won't be disappointed❗️

🌊 Mengkete Ancient Path
Among all the self-driving accessible scenic spots in Ili, this is the only one that charges "per car," making it highly cost-effective.
Snow-capped mountains, streams, grasslands, cattle, and sheep...
Everything Nalati offers can also be found here.

🧚‍♀️ Fairy Lake
Check out my previous notes 📒 for detailed tips.
The lake's color is incredibly unique, and there are plenty of wildflowers along the shore.
Although you can only reach it by horseback or hiking, it's absolutely worth it❗️

🌳 Hundred-Mile Gallery Viewing Platform
Here, you can capture the S-shaped stream.
There's a long wooden boardwalk viewing platform, and aerial shots look even better.

In fact, there are a total of 113 valleys along the Tangbula Grassland.
Most of them haven't been developed into scenic spots and can only be accessed by hiking.
Accommodation options are limited; the better ones are concentrated in the western Honeybee Town.
The rest are tents and felt houses.
