Ningbo Drum Tower （宁波鼓楼) and it area

Located right next to the Drum Tower (gulou 鼓楼) underground station of line 1 and 2 you can find the Drum Tower of Ningbo which is just about 2 hours by train from Shanghai.

The building is not huge but worth to visit. There is a nice view on shopping street behind the tower and when I visited there was a small, free contemporary art exhibition inside.

After we saw the tower we walked among shops selling various snack and finally ended up in the park - called Zhongshan Guangchan 中山广场 - beyond the shopping area. If you havejust a little time it is a great idea to visit these places. One hour is absolutely enough and getting here is easy.
