| Escape the city and enjoy a secluded bamboo forest retreat. One mountain, one water, one world; one residence, one courtyard, one hot spring.

During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, I visited Xinchang Anman and left with a good impression. So on the weekend, I drove to check out Ninghai Anman. I originally booked a Lakeside Villa King Room but was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a Bamboo View Villa—Lucky!!!

The entire resort is built amidst a bamboo forest, offering lush greenery everywhere you look and a sense of seclusion far from the city's hustle and bustle. Each room is a standalone villa, providing strong privacy. The bedding is quite comfortable, and the skincare amenities are from Guerlain.

The poolside bar offers a refined afternoon tea, and you can also choose from a selection of cocktails—both visually appealing and delicious. The resort also offers a variety of activities, such as hot spring baths, horse interactions, paper-cutting, and weaving, but advance reservations are required.

Compared to Xinchang Anman, Ninghai Anman shows some signs of aging and wear. The main drawback is that the rooms are quite far from the front desk, requiring two transfers via shuttle bus, which makes coming and going a bit inconvenient.
