A Must-Stay Lakeview B&B for Design Lovers

On this trip to Ninglang Lugu Lake, I unexpectedly stayed at a heavenly B&B—Pusu·Full Lakeview Resort Villa! The moment I got off the car, I was moved to tears by the stunning lake view. The best part was the super warm and attentive service; from the housekeeper to the cleaning auntie, everyone greeted me with a smile. Staying here truly felt like the warmth of home~

🏡 Location is unbeatable!
The B&B is right next to the Zhu Cao Boat Pier in Daloushui Village, Lugu Lake. It’s just a 3-minute walk to the lakeside sunrise viewing platform! The full lakeview room we booked had windows opening directly to the deep blue lake. In the morning, you can lie in bed and see the sunlight sparkling like diamonds on the water✨ At night, you can hear the gentle sound of waves, so healing you won’t want to leave!

🛏️ Loft room is a delightful surprise
I have to praise this duplex room! The two floors are connected by a natural wood staircase. The upper floor is a 270° glass star room where you can lie down and watch the Milky Way at night (remember to use your phone’s long exposure to capture shooting stars!). The lower floor is a tatami tea room with floor heating. The housekeeper thoughtfully prepared Mosuo handmade embroidered pillows, perfect for photos with an ethnic vibe~

💁 Housekeeper service is on par with five-star hotels
They helped with luggage upon check-in, but that’s not all—there were daily surprises! On the second day, when I caught a cold, the auntie immediately made ginger tea and delivered it to my room. Knowing I love photography, the front desk guy pointed out some secret photo spots: the backyard’s infinity swing (with the Goddess Gem Mountain as the backdrop), the lobby’s bookshelf spiral staircase (the light and shadow are amazing), and even the reed curtain by the bathtub can be used to shoot Instagram-worthy photos!

🍜 Nearby food and sightseeing tips
• A 5-minute walk to Mosuo Food Street, where I recommend the “Steamed Stone Pot Fish” and buckwheat pancakes
• At 7 PM, there’s a Torch Festival at the pier (free tickets for B&B guests)
• If you want to experience the Zhu Cao boat, the housekeeper can help book a private boat for sunrise viewing

🔖 Booking tips
1. Off-season lakeview rooms can be booked for just over 1k, but be sure to request a high floor
2. The B&B offers free ethnic costume rentals (red shawl + silver crown are perfect for photos)
3. Recently, Lugu Lake has big temperature differences between morning and night, so remember to bring a thick jacket

Stayed three days in a row and didn’t want to leave! This place offers both secluded tranquility and convenient living. Woken up by lake gulls in the morning, watching the sunset turn the water red from the terrace in the evening, I finally understand why people say "Lugu Lake will steal your heart"🌊 Planning to come back for a second visit this autumn!
