Savor nature and sweetness at Niseko's ranch cafe: Enjoy a blissful tea time at MILK KOBO

#JapanTravelGuide

Nestled amid the majestic nature of Niseko, Hokkaido,
Niseko Takahashi Dairy Farm MILK KOBO is a cafe and shop perfect for enjoying fresh dairy products delivered directly from the farm and relaxing in the comfort of your own home.

With a wide selection of sweets made with milk from the farm itself, it's a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth! I visited in the middle of winter, and the soft serve ice cream I enjoyed in the warmth of the heater was heavenly! The large windows offer a view of the snowy countryside. ✨

🌿 Recommended Menu & Cafe Experience
Cream Puff
Crispy on the outside, rich milk cream on the inside.
A masterpiece that really brings out the farm's milk.

Cheese Tart
The richness of the cheese matches perfectly with the flavor of the milk.
Sometimes served slightly warm, it has a gentle texture.

Ice Cream/Soft Serve
In addition to the classic milk flavor, seasonal and limited-edition flavors are also available. It has a strong milky flavor, and even when chilled, it tastes amazing.

Cake & Pizza at the Restaurant Next Door: "Mandriano."
The menu features pizzas made with cheese and ingredients made with milk from the farm.
The pizzas use local ingredients, making it a great choice for those looking for a farm cafe and a full meal.

🕒 Estimated Prices & Times

Sweets and cream puffs tend to be in the ¥200-¥500 range.

Main dishes like pizza are around ¥1,600-¥2,000.

🕰️Business hours vary by season, but are usually 9:30-18:00 in summer and 10:00-17:30 in winter.

🌄 Sightseeing & Atmosphere
The location offers a direct view of Mt. Yotei,
and the view is amazing.
Stopping by during a drive or walk makes for a great photo opportunity!

The interior, shop, and cafe space are open and spacious, giving off a farm-like atmosphere. You can sit back and enjoy the view from the window, or enjoy ice cream on an outdoor bench.

They also have a wide selection of baked goods for gifts and souvenirs (like cheese tart assortments), so it's worth stopping by not only for the cafe but also for the souvenirs.

There's also a stylish general store, and the selection of items makes a great gift!

Niseko is often associated with the winter season, but
it's also recommended as a place to relax and unwind!
