Cafe-hopping in Batam

Just a few hours’ ride away from Singapore, you can easily get to the island of Batam for a short weekend getaway! With the good exchange rates there, cafe-hopping becomes a lot more affordable and enjoyable.

One of the cafes that made an impression was this one located near Grand Batam mall. It was an artisan shop that made their own flavoured tarts by hand. We tried a few of their flavours as we couldn’t decide which to get! I personally would recommend the signature and Hojicha flavours, which tasted lighter.

Another cafe we visited was better known for their unique coffee and cakes. I really liked the chocolate fudge cake but you might want to skip on the lemonade as it was overly sweet.

My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
