TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Taichung Lafayette Store - A Must-Visit in April 2025

This is the second TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE I visited in Taichung, with the first being the City Hall Store. Located in Taichung's North District, near the National Museum of Natural Science, TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Taichung Lafayette Store is nestled within a white diamond-patterned building surrounded by lush greenery. The towering trees lining the entrance add a touch of mystery to the bookstore.

The first floor houses ONIBUS COFFEE, the second floor features the TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE SHARE LOUNGE, and the third floor is still under renovation and marked as "COMING SOON." The SHARE LOUNGE offers a unique experience for both adults and children, where different pricing tiers allow unlimited access to drinks and snacks. Currently, the number of books displayed on the second-floor shelves is limited, likely awaiting the completion of the third floor to showcase its full scale.

The existing design continues TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE's signature minimalist and stylish aesthetic, appealing to literary enthusiasts. If you enjoy reading, this bookstore is worth a visit to experience its distinctive atmosphere.
