Afternoon Hi-Tea at David Brown's Mansion

A day trip to Penang Hill is great especially during the day time to escape the hot weather. At the top of the hill, there is this remodeled old bungalow remodeled to a restaurant called David Brown's Restaurant and Tea Terrace. As the name implies, this bungalow used to be owned by Mr David Brown , and sold to a local who remodeled it to a new restaurant. There are also many old bungalows built by the Englishmen during colonisation period which was refurbished and remodeled like this one. We had a three tier afternoon tea at 3.30pm, and were offered a wide variety of sandwiches, cakes and fruits, after we had shaved ice with fruits. With the atmosphere and chilly weather, this is definitely an enjoyment and chill period for a day trip in my hometown Penang Hill, which we should do once in a while.
