Welcome to Kibitsu Shrine

Take the Momotaro Line from Okayama Station to Kibitsu Station.
There's only one unmanned ticket gate and one exit, so you have to cross the tracks to get to the opposite platform.
There's only one train per hour, so be sure to check for your return train (lol).

The path to the shrine passes through pine forests on both sides, and there are idyllic power spots scattered throughout.
The long corridors are photogenic, and the shrine is beautiful despite its age.
I visited on a hot August day, but there were plenty of places to cool off.
