After checking out early in the morning, I headed to the day trip meeting point. However, the "Prefectural Office Front" on the app was too wide; it should have been "Prefectural Office North Exit." Fortunately, we found the correct meeting point as planned.
The lawn at Manzamo, which could accommodate "10,000 people," was now occupied by hundreds of cameras and various poses. Taking a single photo with it was a luxury. The crowds themselves were even more overwhelming than the scenery. Fortunately, the vastness of the beach beneath the Kouri Bridge diluted the crowds, allowing both the camera and the soul to find a moment of respite.
At Churaumi Aquarium, sitting quietly on chairs and watching whale sharks and other creatures swim by, many travelers unconsciously drifted into a state of emptiness, precious time slipping away minute by minute. There was something quite romantic and philosophical about it.
It was low tide at Emerald Beach, and the water was almost transparent. However, due to the timing, it was a pity that it didn't show its best. Time is always the most uncontrollable variable in travel.
I was a bit tired after waking up early for the day trip, so I skipped getting off at the American Village. Although the sunset and night views were highly rated, the thought of having to take the hour-long bus back to the hotel afterward dampened my enthusiasm for checking in. Looking back, there's nothing wrong with this decision, but having the option of choosing a destination at the end of a day trip is one of the benefits of independent travel.
