DAY 52:
Today, we will start the key itinerary of this Seto Inland Sea bicycle tour. We will travel from Honshu to Shikoku via Shikoku. This morning, we will take a ferry from Onoshima to Kojima. The first stop will be the highest point of the Kojima - Takamiyama Observatory (elevation 283 meters). You can see the bridge connecting Indoshima and the island extending south. You can even see the Renshan Mountain of Shikoku and the self-continuous along the Shikoku Hachinodo. The driving lane is well planned, with blue indicators on the road surface to guide the correct direction, and there is also a bicycle lane when going to the bridge, which allows you to enjoy the scenery along the way comfortably. Many Japanese and international tourists will definitely come to experience the scenic spots of cycling when they come to the Seto Inland Sea. Since the highest point of the island is Shirata Mountain (227 meters above sea level), ordinary vehicles can only access to Baheme, and then follow the stone steps. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. The Guanyin Hall on the top of the mountain worships five hundred arhats, and it also has a 360-degree view without dead corners. After going down the mountain, I have lunch in the Arctic in Nakazocho Town, Indori. There is a long queue at the entrance of the small store, most of which are locals, and I am the only tourist. A parent-mouth set meal is only ¥830, which is really a very affordable price!
