This building is a modernist building from the early Showa period and is designated as a national registered tangible cultural property. It is commonly known as the "Osaka Gas Building" and is still used as the headquarters building of Osaka Gas. Gas lamps are lit in front of the entrance, giving it a nice retro feel. There is also a restaurant inside, which seems to be open to the public. Midosuji Street, which runs in front of the Osaka Gas Building, is a sculpture street and is also provided by the Osaka Gas Building.
