Osaka was great and fun!

Tako yaki in dotonbori is must try food. Almost available on every shops and stalls

Osaka castle is worth a visit. Cool park and long walk. Very clean and not crowded. If you come during cherry blossom, you will see beautiful colours of flowers and plants. Ticket can be purchased at Castle entrance. Public toilet is limited. So plan your drinks and meals carefully 🤣.

I stayed Ark Hotel Shinsaibashi. Atop of osaka subways system and accessible on every corner of the buildings. I can easily access train service heading to Kyoto, it was beautiful journey.

Foreign currency exchange kiosk(machine) available on every hot spot in Osaka, including most hotels. But the rates are not favourable.

Subway/train fee can be purchased at Kansai airport upon arrival, or you can purchase Icoca or Suica card directly from your Apple Wallet . Very convenient and avoid long Q at kiosk machine. Unfortunately, during my visit payment for train service cannot be paid using credit/debit card.

Public bus is convenient, and fix fare. You must enter bus through back door , and to exit proceed to front door and make payment via card of icoca or suica and cash (exact amount) around ¥200+- .

Dotonbori is a must visit. Full of street food and shopping stalls. Shinsaibashi suji shopping street is tax free for tourist for receipt spending above ¥5000 , claim at the airport. Keep the receipt. Branded items are available here, including jewelleries and branded luxury watch like Tissot, Kuoe, Rolex and Longines.

American village if you want more westernised cloth. Street are narrow and beware of incoming vehicles from behind .

Universal Studios Osaka- good place and very very crowded and expensive. Not recommended, but can give a try. #osaka #icoca #dotonbori #japan #osakacastle
