A day trip in Osaka unfolds like a painting. Starting in the morning from Smile Hotel PREMIUM Osaka Honmachi, conveniently located within walking distance to the subway, the simple and elegant space instantly relaxes you. After enjoying the hotel’s Japanese breakfast, we took the subway to the long-awaited Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. Passing through the port area, the sea breeze brushed past us, lifting the travelers’ spirits.
The aquarium’s interior design feels like a deep-sea journey, especially the eight-story Central Pacific tank where manta rays glide gracefully before your eyes, as if you were underwater. The environment inside is clean, the guided tours detailed, and the children’s laughter fills the air, warming the heart. In the afternoon, we took a short break at the Tempozan Marketplace outside the aquarium, savoring takoyaki and matcha soft serve, delighting our taste buds. Returning to the hotel at dusk, the quiet yet bustling Honmachi district seemed to perfectly conclude this fulfilling day. Osaka’s rhythm is gentle yet powerful, leaving a lasting impression.
