Libu Lake, located in the central urban area of Xinjian District, Nanchang City, midway along Jiefang Road, serves as a popular recreational spot for local residents and one of Nanchang's most important lakes. A natural water and land park, Libu Lake is situated in the middle of the bustling Jiefang Road area in Xinjian District. It covers an area of 420 mu (approximately 352.5 mu) of which is water and 67.5 mu is land.
There are over 1,200 trees and 40,000 shrubs, with a greening rate of 87.4%. There are two lakeside islands, two groups of mushroom pavilions, and multiple grape trellises. The park boasts an activity center for the elderly, a swimming pool, and a variety of children's entertainment facilities, including a boat ride and a fun castle. The park is ablaze with vibrant lights: courtyard lights along the paths, flared lanterns beneath the trees, around the lake, and rim lights on the Jade Belt Bridge, Nine-Curve Bridge, and the Octagonal Pavilion. Landscape lights, butterfly lights, coconut tree lights, and fireworks lights adorn the park with a vibrant atmosphere.
Libu Lake isn't actually very large; the locals would more accurately call it a "pond." But Chinese people, with their love of elegance, built a rockery in the center, a stone bridge, a pavilion, and surrounded it with railings and some stylish lighting, transforming the "pond" into a "lake."
The subtropical monsoon climate makes it suitable for leisurely walks by the lake in all seasons.
There are three artificial islands in the center of Libu Lake. Stone bridges are built on the north and south sides of the central island, connecting the two banks of the lake. The north bridge is slightly arched in the middle, but it is not an arch bridge. The south bridge does not follow the traditional model of Chinese garden architecture - to form a symmetry with the arch bridge on the left, but has its own unique characteristics and is built as a "W"-shaped flat bridge. With the bridge as the boundary, there is a small island on the east and west sides, which are also connected by small bridges. There is a pavilion on each island for tourists to rest;
