I recently went to the Osaka Expo and was blown away by the technology and creativity on site! This fresh guide lets you get a sneak peek at the latest Expo updates~
As soon as you enter the Expo park, you can feel the full futuristic vibe! This Expo’s theme, "Designing Future Society," is reflected throughout the architecture and pavilions with environmental and technological elements. Highly recommend visiting the Japan Pavilion, which looks like a giant dandelion on the outside. Inside, advanced projection technology showcases the changing seasons, with every frame so beautiful you’ll want to screenshot it! Also, the France Pavilion, designed as a floating garden, feels like stepping into a fairy tale with its interplay of light and shadow.
Besides the exhibits, the park’s food is super exciting! There are snacks from all over the world. I tried Spanish seafood paella and Italian handmade gelato, and the flavors were incredibly authentic~ The park also has many interactive experience zones. If you’re with kids, check out the Children’s Creative Workshop where they can make crafts and do science experiments—fun and educational.
It’s recommended to buy tickets in advance on the official website and download the Expo app to plan your route. Some popular pavilions require advance reservations! Wear comfortable shoes because the park is huge and you’ll be walking a lot in one day~ To avoid crowds, try to visit on weekdays.
