The France Pavilion at the Osaka Expo, a rendezvous of romance and an artistic feast

Dear friends, the France Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka Expo is simply a dream come true! 🥰

The pavilion is a collaboration between Coldefy Architecture Studio and Carloratti Associati, covering a total area of 3,600 square meters, called "theatrumnaturae" (Theatre of Nature). Its exterior resembles a mysterious theater draped in a white curtain. Upon entering, the first thing you see is a winding staircase, which serves as both the starting point and an observation deck. Climb the stairs, pass through the "curtain," and you can explore the interior space.

This time, the France Pavilion has also teamed up with the LVMH Group. Louis Vuitton created a super cool multi-sensory experience installation built with 85 suitcases, collaborating with visual artists to create an immersive world; Dior reimagined classic suits using over 400 types of white printed fabrics, with an elegantly designed exhibition space. Inside the pavilion, there are also artworks like Rodin sculptures and Notre-Dame Cathedral gargoyles, making it feel like stepping into an art palace.

In the garden, there are millennium-old olive trees transplanted from southern France. Walking among them, you can appreciate the diverse landscapes from the French mountains to the coast. In short, the France Pavilion perfectly blends art, fashion, and nature—romantic and stylish, definitely worth a visit! #OsakaExpo
