Umeda Sky

#VisaFreeTravel Umeda Sky Building is another landmark in Osaka city. It is open for visits from 9:30 AM to 10:30 PM. On the day I went, it was around 10:00 AM in the morning. Upon arrival, take the escalator to the 3rd floor to catch the elevator to the 35th floor (when I arrived, there was a very long line, but staff were organizing the queue into 4 lines for the elevator). After waiting about 20 minutes, I got on the elevator. There are 2 elevators. Going up was thrilling because it’s very high. When you reach the 35th floor, you will find an escalator tunnel. This area is still free of charge. It’s as beautiful as the reputation says, perfect for taking photos and videos. Going up the escalator to the 39th floor, you will find the ticket counter. If you want to enjoy the 360-degree view of Osaka city, you can buy a ticket here for 1,200 yen and then go up to the 40th floor.

The sky looked like it might rain on the day I went, but I still got to enjoy the view. The wind at the top was very strong. Inside, there is a café, a restaurant, and souvenir shops, with tables to sit and enjoy the view.
