Traveling Osaka

🇯🇵✨ Osaka… this city makes my heart swell with joy ✨🇯🇵
“If Tokyo is the perfect older sister, Osaka is like the chill little sister who’s warm and just as lovely.” This is what I told myself after visiting Osaka for the first time, and it’s no surprise why everyone falls in love with this place like it’s under a spell 🍡🍥

🛬 Starting the trip from Kansai Airport (KIX)
As soon as the plane touched down, I quickly grabbed a JR Pass and an ICOCA card. Super convenient! It takes about an hour by train to get into Osaka city. Watching the sea and city views pass by, my heart was pounding like I was starting a new love story.

🏨 Staying in Namba… the heart of convenience
My accommodation was near Dotonbori, which is super convenient. Just a few steps from the subway station to the hotel, plus it’s close to food spots and shopping areas. At night, the neon lights from the Glico sign flicker like a scene from an anime! 📸

🍜 Day 1: Food adventure in Dotonbori
If you come to Osaka and don’t eat takoyaki, it’s like you never came! I walked around eating hot takoyaki with chewy octopus inside, enjoying it in the cool air—pure bliss~ Then I had okonomiyaki at a long-established shop on Hozenji Yokocho street. At night, I even sneaked a visit to Hozenji Temple to pray and rubbed the moss-covered statue for good luck 🍀

🎡 Day 2: Visiting Universal Studios Japan (USJ) 🎢
The day of happiness arrived! I woke up early to line up at USJ. I wore a Minion t-shirt with a Pooh bear ear hat—super cute! I screamed on the rides until my voice was hoarse 🤣 The highlight was Super Nintendo World, where it felt like stepping into a game! I hit blocks to collect coins and walked into Bowser’s castle, feeling like a 5-year-old kid 🥹💖

🍣 Day 3: Kuromon Market + Shinsaibashi
This morning, I explored Kuromon Market for delicious food—grilled king crab, big sweet shrimp, and salmon sashimi were a must! Then I sipped on smooth iced green tea~ In the afternoon, I shopped extensively at Shinsaibashi. Cute shirts, Japanese brand shoes, and cosmetics at great prices made my card swipe with every shot 🛍️💸

🏯 Day 4: Osaka Castle Park & Umeda Sky
In the morning, I strolled around Osaka Castle Park. The atmosphere was great, with cool breezes and some autumn leaves still visible in spots. Taking photos with the beautiful castle felt like being a princess in a fairy tale 🍁 In the afternoon, I went up Umeda Sky Building for a panoramic view of Osaka—so stunning I was speechless for a moment~ At night, I stopped by HEP FIVE with its red Ferris wheel spinning in the city, super romantic 🥰

🧸 Day 5: Cute cafes x vintage spots
On the last day before leaving, I chilled in Nakazakicho, a hip area full of adorable cafes decorated in a mix of traditional Japanese and minimalistic styles. Walking, eating, and taking photos felt like stepping into a Studio Ghibli world 🐾🧋

🎁 Cute souvenirs from Donki
Before heading back, don’t forget to stop by Don Quijote. Osaka’s prices are even cheaper than Tokyo! I packed Japanese snacks, a small cosplay set, face masks, and cute souvenirs until my bag had to expand 😆

💌 Honestly, Osaka is a city full of charm—food, attractions, and kind, lovely people. If you’re looking for a place that’s not too hectic but warm and feels like home, Osaka is definitely a place you must try at least once.

🌟 See you again on the next trip… Osaka suki desu~ 🩷🇯🇵🍙
