Review of traveling in Osaka:
The city of smiles, delicious food, and unforgettable impressions
Osaka is the third largest city in Japan and is full of charm with fun, delicious food, and a very lovely culture that made me fall in love from the first step I set foot in this city.
Although many say Tokyo or Kyoto are must-visit cities,
Osaka is the city that impressed me so much that I want to come back many times.
⸻
Namba & Dotonbori: The heart of Osaka
The moment I stepped out of Namba Station,
it felt like entering a world of lights, sounds, and the enticing aroma of food. Dotonbori, Osaka’s most famous street, is filled with bright neon signs and rows of restaurants ready to serve delicious dishes.
A must-try is takoyaki, round balls crispy on the outside and soft inside,
filled with large pieces of octopus, topped with sweet and savory sauce and Japanese mayonnaise. The sweet and rich flavor is so delicious I want to eat it again. Another favorite of mine is okonomiyaki, a thick, soft batter mixed with fresh vegetables and meat, topped with Osaka’s special sauce. The harmonious taste feels warm and comforting.
Walking along the Dotonbori canal at night, the lights reflecting on the water add a romantic atmosphere, like being in a Japanese movie.
⸻
Shinsaibashi: The cute shopping street and café
Not far from Dotonbori, I found Shinsaibashi Street,
a shopping street full of trendy fashion stores, cute stationery shops, and Japanese-style cafés serving rich green tea and sweets.
I spent hours choosing adorable items like notebooks, pastel-colored pens, and cute stickers. The café I stopped at had a warm atmosphere and served green tea cake that was so delightful I wanted to stay there for a long time.
⸻
Osaka Castle: A symbol of history and elegance
Osaka Castle is not just an ordinary tourist spot,
but a historical symbol of the city. I strolled through the shady garden with beautiful trees and flowers, perfect for relaxing.
Climbing to the top of the castle, I enjoyed a 360-degree view of Osaka city. The peaceful atmosphere combined with the beauty of the architecture impressed me so much I didn’t want to leave.
⸻
Universal Studios Japan: A magical world of fun
USJ is a destination I was very excited about,
especially the Harry Potter zone, which made me feel like I really stepped into a magical world. Walking through Hogsmeade Village, sipping sweet and smooth Butterbeer, and enjoying thrilling rides.
The Minion zone was full of bright colors and children’s laughter.
The fun and smiles I got here made me lose track of time.
⸻
Kuromon Market: A food lover’s paradise
Kuromon Market is a place I really loved.
I got to try wagyu beef that melted in my mouth, grilled scallops with sweet garlic butter, and fresh sushi that made me feel like floating.
Fresh fruits like large, sweet strawberries perfectly refreshed this trip.
⸻
Osaka: A warm city full of smiles
Osaka is not just a city with beautiful landmarks and delicious food,
but a city that gives a warm and friendly feeling to everyone. People smile brightly and sincerely help each other, making me feel like I was at home.
Osaka taught me that happiness doesn’t have to be complicated. Just eating delicious food, being with loved ones, and sharing smiles is enough.
⸻
Summary of impressions
Osaka is a city that has it all: food, travel, shopping,
and cuteness that makes you fall in love from the first word. For anyone planning to go to Japan, don’t forget to stop by Osaka. This place will surely give you wonderful memories to take home.
