Ibis Budget Osaka Umeda (The Ultimate Budget Hotel in Osaka)

This is the Ibis Budget Osaka Umeda located near Nakazakicho Station. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Umeda Station. I arrived at 2 PM, dropped off my luggage, checked the schedule, and came back at 6 PM to check in. The hotel is 15 floors high, and I was assigned a room on the 14th floor. lucky

The view faces Kitahama and Umeda Station. There aren’t many tall buildings blocking the view in front, so it offers a much better view than expected. The Hep Five Ferris wheel proudly shows off its bright red colors on the right.

The room type is a Standard Twin Room. It’s about 16 to 17 square meters, and the room condition is about mid-level for a typical business hotel. It seems the budget grade is one step below the Ibis Styles I stayed at in Kyoto, Sapporo, and Nagoya.

I was very satisfied to be assigned a high floor with a great view. Just a 5-minute walk away, the area is full of bars and lively nightlife, and there’s a Life supermarket open until midnight just a minute away.

There’s also a Lawson convenience store next to the hotel building, so the infrastructure is excellent and very convenient. I slept soundly and woke up refreshed. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, so I joined right at opening time. I didn’t know this the day before.

The breakfast isn’t fancy, but the lineup of freshly fried kushikatsu is impressive. The takoyaki and gyukari are also good. There aren’t many options, but it’s a delicious breakfast.

A group checked out about 15 minutes early. It takes only 3 minutes to get to Nakazakicho Station, making transportation very convenient. The route was not as bad as I initially thought, and it’s within walking distance to Umeda. Thank you.
