It's rare to find affordable sukiyaki in Namba City. They specialize in premium beef and Kuroge Wagyu beef, and I personally find the premium beef to be quite delicious.

Getting there: Get off at Nankai Electric Railway Namba Station and head toward Namba City Food Court.

Make sure to go during off-peak lunch hours. I arrived around 2:00 PM and didn't have to wait in line, making it easy to dine alone. Order using a QR code or with the staff. First, choose between premium beef or Kuroge Wagyu beef. You can choose from three sauces: black, white, and red. The black sauce is the standard sweet and salty sukiyaki sauce, the white is a soy milk-flavored sauce, and the red is a tomato-based sauce. After your meal arrives, there are simple instructions on the table for how to cook the sukiyaki, which you can follow without any problems. The beef is beautifully marinated, and while it's not a whole slice, it's worth the price. The beef slices are easily eaten with a few dips, completely devoid of any fishy smell. A dip in raw egg makes them even smoother. A bed of vegetables, shredded konjac, and tofu is layered on top. The salty and sweet flavor is truly delicious and goes really well with rice. I highly recommend giving it a try.
