The Kyu-Chikurin-in Temple in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, is one of the village temples where monks who trained at Enryaku-ji Temple lived after retirement, and is the largest of the many village temples in Sakamoto.

The strolling garden in front of the main house is a nationally designated scenic spot, known as a popular photo spot, and you can also enjoy matcha tea in the garden.
