Beautiful hot spring hotel in Lake Biwa, Kyoto🌅

It was dusk when we arrived at Lake Biwa by car. The low buildings near the lake were surrounded by the gentle afterglow, exuding a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. As you step into the hot spring hotel, you will be greeted by a simply designed lobby with staff in kimonos and a Christmas tree decorated with lights, which makes you feel comfortable. Coming to the room, the spacious tatami room is paired with a peaceful sunset lake view, and there is a hot spring glass stone tile bathtub in its own corner. Everything is like a warm Japanese room in your imagination. After changing into a pink yukata with cherry blossoms printed on it and having a sumptuous kaiseki meal at the restaurant, we headed to the public bathhouse to enjoy a solo bath. When the warm spring water meets the cold air, a thick fog floats in the whole space. It is so quiet that only the sounds of flowing water and falling leaves can be heard. I feel like my whole body is about to melt in the tranquility of Kyoto.

Lake Biwa is even more beautiful in the morning. After having a buffet grilled fish breakfast, we took a walk by the lake. The scattered deep red maple leaves, the light blue lake like a gem, the emerald green plant trail, and the two of us, one red and one blue, everything seems so happy.
