Bangkok｜Khaoyai Art Forest

I kept forgetting to post about my previous visit until recently when Hauser Wirth tagged me - the giant Louise Bourgeois spider mom is about to leave Khaoyai Art Forest, which reminded me to strongly recommend this niche art destination just a 3-hour drive from Bangkok.

There should be new art projects updated now, and you can check the operating hours and artworks on the Khaoyai Art Forest official website. I stayed at the InterContinental Khao Yai at the time, where the service and environment were excellent. The hotel arranged a limo to pick me up and drop me off from downtown Bangkok. I stayed in Khao Yai for three days: one full day was spent at Khaoyai Art Forest - the 7 or 8 art projects were all very good, and the dinner was surprisingly delicious (creative dishes made with selected local ingredients). The other two days I hiked in Khao Yai National Park (I have separate posts about the InterContinental Khao Yai and the national park, which can be found by searching the keywords).
