Come to France to enjoy buttery croissants, climb the Eiffel Tower, or sip mulled wine at fairy-tale Christmas markets...

I visited Paris in December, with Christmas lights sparkling and the air filled with roasted chestnuts. Strasbourg, the capital of Christmas, was even more magical.

[1. Transportation]
I landed at CDG airport. Getting to the city via RER train cost about 10€. From Paris to Strasbourg, I took the TGV (2 hours, ~40€).

[2. Attractions]
In Paris, I saw the Eiffel Tower, strolled the Seine, and visited the Louvre. In Strasbourg, I admired timber-framed houses and visited the famous Cathedral.

[3. Food]
Highlights: Croque monsieur, raclette, mulled wine, and fresh pain au chocolat.
