[Recommended spot for a panoramic view of Paris] Sacre Coeur Basilica Observation Deck

#TravelTips

📍Sacré-Coeur (Paris, Montmartre)

The Sacré-Coeur stands iconic on a hill in the Montmartre district in the north of Paris.

Its elevated location offers panoramic views of Paris.

The interior of the Sacré-Coeur is also beautiful, and admission is free.

We highly recommend climbing to the observation deck atop the Sacré-Coeur.

After climbing approximately 300 steps, you'll be rewarded with a panoramic view of Paris stretching into the distance.

You can purchase tickets at the entrance on the left side of the front of the Sacré-Coeur.

Price: 8 euros

There are no elevators, only stairs, so elderly or physically infirm visitors are not permitted to climb to the top.

With few tall buildings in Paris, the views from above are limited.

This is arguably the best place to see Paris. It's a hidden gem, with shorter lines than the Eiffel Tower, but we recommend timing your visit accordingly.
