A Must-See Museum for Art Lovers in France — Musée d'Orsay

On October 4, 2025, the first stop in Paris was the Musée d'Orsay. We queued in the rain waiting for it to open and finally got inside. Because I had done extensive research through videos before the trip, I was already familiar with the layout at the entrance and the high dome from the videos. But walking in and experiencing the exhibits up close was a continuous surprise and deeply moving. At the end of September, I saw the special exhibition from the Musée d'Orsay at the Shanghai Pudong Art Museum, where I only saw two Van Gogh works. Today, after entering the museum, I headed straight to the fifth floor, which is truly a feast for the eyes, especially enjoying so many works by Van Gogh and Monet. I also caught the special exhibition of Sargent’s works, which was indescribably exciting. Heading directly to the fifth floor was a wise move, allowing me to avoid the crowds for a while, which was very pleasant! There are so many beloved works that 20 photos could never cover them all. Since that’s the case, there’s no need to be strict—one photo at the entrance, one looking back before leaving, and the rest can be added casually!
