Just got back from Malacca. Before the trip, I checked hotel reviews and came across the hotel where Fan Ye stayed in Malacca. I was instantly captivated by the resort’s Nanyang style! After staying three days, even my friends kept saying at checkout: Next time we come to Malacca, we have to stay here‼️
Here, on one side is the tranquility of a tropical oasis, and on the other is the rich Peranakan culture. You can enjoy Nanyang-style cuisine, and the outlet mall is just nearby—truly a “one-stop vacation” 🌴
🏨 PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort
⛱️ Environment & Location
The hotel is hidden in Malacca’s natural oasis. Right outside is the wildlife park, and it’s a 15-minute walk to the outlet mall. It perfectly combines “history, nature, family fun, and shopping”! Woken up by tropical birdsong in the morning, open the balcony door to a lush garden, and the golf course’s greenery is in full view nearby—vacation vibes maxed out 🌿
🏡 Exterior & Architecture
As soon as you enter, you’re immersed in Baba-Nyonya style! The entire place features solid wood furniture and distinctive tiles, with every wall telling the story of Malacca’s heritage. The 213 rooms and suites are scattered throughout the garden. The public areas, including the pool and restaurants, exude a laid-back Nanyang feel, especially the poolside bar and pool area—every photo you take screams vacation mode. No wonder even Fan Ye chose to stay here when visiting Malacca 🧚♀️
🛏️ Rooms & Facilities
This time I stayed in the brand-new Junior Suite, which is very spacious. Modern decor mixed with Peranakan elements, with great attention to detail! You can also enjoy executive lounge privileges. The resort is equipped with a pool, kids’ pool, playground, and a 24-hour gym to meet the vacation needs of all ages 🧑🧑🧒🧒
🍴 Dining Experience
▪️ Spice Brasserie: Even the buffet breakfast here is full of surprises! Order a cup of teh tarik, freshly made by staff right at your table with enthusiasm and care, making the experience truly memorable! Pair it with a stack of Peranakan specialty dim sum to start your day full of energy! Besides the buffet breakfast, they also offer a rich buffet and à la carte menu featuring abundant seafood and local Malaysian specialties.
▪️ Ya Yuen Chinese Restaurant: Serves classic Cantonese cuisine. If you crave Chinese food while abroad, this is a great choice.
🌳 Nearby Attractions:
▪️ Freeport A’Famosa Outlet Mall (15-minute walk)
▪️ A’Famosa Wildlife Park (8-minute drive)
▪️ A’Famosa Water Theme Park (10-minute drive)
❤️❤️❤️
A resort hotel that combines “celebrity style, cultural heritage, and comprehensive facilities” like this is truly worth staying at! Especially since it’s Fan Ye-approved for its looks, I sincerely recommend it to every sister visiting Malacca‼️
