Killer Gourmet Burgers or KGB as it is more popularly known (not to be confused with the Russian Intelligence Agency), since its inception in 2013 on one of the Bangsar city streets has grown to include diner-concept restaurants amongst its branches. Interestingly located inside the IOI Mall Damansara, it is uncompromising in terms of bringing the classic ambiance of a diner - lit-up neon signs, simple and comfy seatings, and the definitive checkered floor. The menu has a standard and wholesome collection of originally-crafted dishes - burgers, sandwiches, salads, drinks, desserts, breakfast, drinks, and sides. A large part of the menu is a tribute to soul-food, offering bounteous eggrolls, succulent cheesesteak, and mouth-watering waffles. For the more sentimental, an opportunity to take a slice of memory home is available, via a purchase from the merchandise rack - be it a tote bag, a t-shirt, or an enamel pin, cutely illustrated with cartoon characters and KGB logo. If you cannot make the long trip to the American Southwest, then this diner might just be a good backup option.
