🛍️ Starling Mall – Popped in for llaollao, stayed for the chill vibes

I went to Starling Mall in Damansara Uptown just to grab llaollao, but it turned out to be more than just a yogurt run. The mall has this airy, nature-inspired layout—bright skylights, leafy accents, and even bird motifs that make the space feel fresh and open.

The llaollao kiosk is easy to spot on the first floor. I got my usual sanum—frozen yogurt layered with fruit and crunchy toppings. It was creamy, tangy, and super refreshing on a hot day. Always hits the spot.

After that, I wandered around a bit. The mall isn’t massive, but it’s well-designed and easy to navigate. There’s Jaya Grocer if you need to pick up anything, a cinema upstairs, and my personal favorite—a rooftop herb garden! It’s surprisingly peaceful up there, with little benches and a nice breeze.

Food-wise, the Foodies’ Nest food court on Level 3 is worth checking out. It’s clean, air-conditioned, and offers good local variety—from nasi lemak to Western bites. Not overcrowded, which makes the whole experience really pleasant.

Honestly, I expected a quick stop for frozen yogurt, but ended up spending over an hour just enjoying the space. Starling Mall might not be a mega destination, but it’s perfect for a quiet afternoon with good eats and no stress.
