Maya Bay ✨

Maya Bay is a stunning bay with white sand and blue crystal water located in Thailand. It became very famous because of the movie “The beach” by Leonardo Dicaprio.

The bay was closed for many years due to human activity such as littering , destruction and deterioration of the coral, damaging the environment in general…but after recovering, Maya Bay has finally reopened to tourists, although now the bay has strict rules that everyone has to follow.
It is not possible to swim, anchor in the bay
and there is a limitation about the amount of daily visitors.

I recommend you to visit it during the first shift in the morning to avoid crowds, despite of the rules it is still an amazing place to see and enjoy the nature.
