Introducing General Garden

The General Park is located at the southern end of General Avenue in Xingguo County, covering an area of 300 acres. It is an important measure taken by the county party committee and county government to play the role of "National Patriotic Education Demonstration Base", carry forward the revolutionary tradition of the Soviet area, commemorate the great achievements of the generals, and make full use of Xingguo's red tourism resources.

General Park comprises General Square, the General Memorial Hall, a large sculpture group, a leisure plaza, General Lake, and General Island. A 5.2-meter-tall white marble statue of Chairman Mao Zedong stands in the center of General Square. The park, arranged along the route of the Long March, features statues of Marshal Chen Yi and 56 generals from Xingguo. Twelve pieces of stone are carved into a cycle of 12 Long March songs composed by General Xiao Hua. A large sculpture group depicts the "Model Xingguo Division of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army," the "International Division of the Young Communist League of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army," and the "Central Guard Division of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army," along with 300 military flags and 69 soldiers charging into battle. The park integrates memorial services, education, and tourism.

The General Memorial Hall is located in the General Park, with a construction area of 5,000 square meters. The roof is in the shape of the Red Army's octagonal hat, and the exhibition hall and gate are composed of sickle and axe shapes, highlighting the characteristics of Xingguo Red Army County.
