✨️Wat Pho, or Wat Phra Chetuphon Vimolmangklararm Rajwaramahaviharn, is a first-class royal temple. King Rama I ordered the restoration of the old Wat Photharam, turning it into a royal temple near the Grand Palace. The Phra Buddha Theva Patimakorn is the principal Buddha image in the ordination hall. During the reign of King Rama III, Wat Pho was used as a repository of various fields of knowledge.
