Worship the large reclining Buddha of Ayutthaya, over 600 years old
🎈At Wat Sam Wihan
🎈Location: Tambon Hua Ro, Amphoe Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

🎈Wat Sam Wihan, an ancient temple in Ayutthaya, was built in the early Ayutthaya period, during the reign of King Luang Phra Ngua, around 1920. It was originally called Wat Sam Phihan, but since the temple had 3 chapels, the name was changed to Wat Sam Wihan. Originally, there were 3 chapels in total: the sitting Buddha chapel, the reclining Buddha, and the standing Buddha. However, the standing Buddha chapel has collapsed over time, leaving only 2 chapels: the reclining Buddha chapel and the sitting Buddha chapel. Inside the ordination hall of Wat Sam Wihan, there is Phra Phuttha Suwanna Nimit Mongkhon or Luang Pho Thong.
🎈The reclining Buddha chapel houses the large reclining Buddha, over 600 years old, a stucco Buddha statue from the early Ayutthaya period, which is similar to the Sukhothai style. It is 21 meters long. It is believed that if you come to pay homage, you will receive kindness and popularity. And dispel bad things
🎈Phra Nang Temple enshrines Phra Phuttha Maha Mongkhon or Luang Pho Khao, a stucco Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture. People often come to ask for blessings for money, work and luck.
