Wat Mae Nang Pluem, Ayutthaya Province

Wat Mae Nang Pluem is an ancient temple in Ayutthaya Province. During the war, the Burmese army used this temple as a base for their cannons, which resulted in the temple sustaining minimal damage. The principal Buddha image here is Luang Pho Khao, and many people come to pay respects and seek blessings. The temple's name originates from the time of King Naresuan, who restored the temple for Mae Pluem, a woman who had shown kindness to him. The temple has a parking lot at the front, and it is a short walk to the temple, making it convenient for elderly visitors.
