Laem Krating, Phuket | Sunset Viewpoint

🌳⛰ Laem Krathing is a hillside that juts out into the Andaman Sea on the west coast, just like Laem Phromthep, which is perfect for adventurers who don't want to be crowded with people. Although the distance to the destination is difficult, if you really get to enjoy the atmosphere and watch the sunset with someone, I can tell you that your tiredness will be gone for sure.🥰

🌟💫The highlight here is "Hin Sailboat", a rock that we can climb up to take pictures. But because the light was almost gone, we didn't reach our destination that day. So we could only take pictures of the bright yellow grass fields that grow in rows along the mountain instead. But to be honest, just this place is awesome.☺️🌾

🚶🚶🏻‍♀️Walking route:
- Park in the lot opposite "On The Rock Bar & Restaurant" or in the area.
- Walk about 850 meters to "Baan Krating Phuket" (a bit steep). 🏠🦬
- Walk along the resort wall down to Ao Sen Beach.
- Walk along the rocks along the beach for about 200-300 meters until you reach a large rocky area where people come to fish or lie down and enjoy the view. 🌊🪨
- Walk up the grass on the slanted cliff for about 200 meters until you reach the corner of the rock platform that we photographed. (There are some visible trails for us to follow)
- But if you really want to go to Laem Krating, at "Hin Ruea Bai", you will have to walk another 200-300 meters. 🪨⛵️

🚘 Parking spot: The area opposite On The Rock Bar & Restaurant

⏱️ Time spent: Round trip, excluding breaks, approximately 1 hr - 1 hr 30 min (It is recommended to start walking around 15.30-16.00)

🚨Recommendations: Wear sneakers or sports shoes (don't do what we did 😅) + Bring a small bottle of water + Finish your business first because there are no bathrooms along the way + Don't wait for the sun to set because the path is dark and dangerous.
