Mai Khao Beach

Killer lonĝgggggg beach with golden sand and views that go on forever.
Not overrun like many Phuket beaches.
This is an amazing walking 🚶♀️ beach. Seriously , step counters will go crazy here.. 20k steps -----no problem.
SUNSETS!!!!!° are drop dead gorgeous.
This beach was hit hard by the 2004 Tsunami. Buildings still wasted can be seen along this beachfront road. Tsunami warning signs were posted everywhere. Keep your fingers crossed 🤞.
Great swimming with a fairly abrupt drop off.
Limited seashells
Only limited litter...NICE!!!!!!!!!
Restrooms 🚻......beachside vegetation 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Handicap is doable and recommended...find a less steep area.
Final take...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ....for the golden sands and the incredible golden sunsets. 24 Karat for sure.
