Wat Chalong, the city's most important temple

I went to Wat Chalong. Let me tell you that I was very full of merit and happiness.
If anyone comes to visit Phuket and wants to make merit, I recommend "Wat Chalong" or the full name Wat Chaithararam. It is a famous temple that Phuket people respect a lot, especially Luang Pho Chaem, who many people come to pray for blessings. There are both Thais and foreign tourists.

The pagoda of the temple is very beautiful and magnificent. Inside, there are relics of the Lord Buddha and there are paintings telling the story of the Lord Buddha around. You can walk around and enjoy taking pictures.

The atmosphere of the temple is shady, with a cool breeze. It is not too crowded. There is a large and convenient parking lot.

🚗 It is only a 20-minute drive from the city. It is easy to rent or charter a car.

💡 I recommend dressing appropriately so that you can enter the pagoda.
