🔆Wat Mongkol Nimit, Royal Monastery, or Wat Klang Phuket🔆 is an ancient temple and the only royal temple in Phuket. Located in the heart of the old town, close to the city's walking street, it's convenient for tourists. It's a popular destination for those seeking merit-making and experiencing Thai-Portuguese architecture. The temple grounds also offer convenient parking for exploring Phuket's Old Town, as it's located near the old Sino-Portuguese buildings. The temple features many beautiful architectural features, including an ancient chedi, a Thai-style ubosot (ordination hall), and the Mae Pong pavilion, reflecting the city's history. Visitors are required to dress appropriately, as shorts are not permitted.

🕣The temple is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. There is no admission fee, but proper attire is required.
