Elephant farm where riding them is prohibited

Meeting elephants in Phuket can happen in different ways: as part of a tour or at an elephant farm. The first option involves riding the animals, which can negatively affect their health. The second option is ethical, bringing joy to both tourists and the inhabitants of such places 🐘

I visited one of these farms, where we had the opportunity to interact with the elephants: feeding them, petting them, and even bathing with them. Everything is done with utmost care. Here, they are not forced to perform tricks or carry people – the animals simply enjoy life 💙

We booked the trip in advance on the website. A big plus was that a transfer, included in the price, came to pick us up. They picked us up directly from our hotel – Ramada by Wyndham Phuket Deevana Patong. By the way, the hotel is thematically close to the elephant farm, as you can see these magnificent animals in its decor 🤍🌳
